I thought this design would make a pretty cool tshirt so I've submitted it to Threadless.com. Thought I would share this as wallpaper with you all. The sizes in the set are 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x1024 & 1920x1200.

Anémonie, as in sea anemone, with a spelling to suggest a name... Ideas of mermaids and sirens are so conflated these days that I don't feel very bad about painting a siren with a fish tail, instead of with wings like they really should be shown. Just a little bit bad, that the mermaid has absorbed a lot of negative traits that are attributed to them unfairly.

... I would like to stress that my intention was not to draw an erotic pinup, rather I wanted to layout my iteration of the archetypal siren symbol.
