I admit I prefer the coloured version, however I think this looks nice too. It's more dramatic and sorrowful.

nice in black and white as well as colour, although it doesn't have as much of an impact to it. i can really appreciate the shades and texture of the clouds here, though

Tone, not b&w,

I think it has more impact like this then in color myself. As this is stark and cut down from the many colors and changes to just a few colors and the impact of light vs dark.
