Wonderful use of movement through blurs! I find it interesting how those two stems are both pointing in the exact same direction and are both submerged!

This is just gorgeous :)

Walking On Water indeed.

The swirl of the water, paired with how the twirl of foliage is curving up and out... all feels like a dance. An elegant pas de deux

I have a print of this on my calaneder here beside me and it came out really nice, one of those few pieces of mine I'm really happy with ;)

Thanks for the feedback and all the support :salute:

It's amazing how little of our work we're even 75% happy with, but you're right this one's a keeper! :D

the first word that comes in my mind when I look at this wonderful photo is "primordial": the little plants rising from the life-giving water, or, on the contrary, the last standing plants in the flood.
also, the details and the colours are very interesting:)

Thanks, I was very happy with the result in this photo, i'm glad you like it. The 'last' plant was more the meaning I was trying to go for

got to admit, i'm on the fence about this one. i find the flower-stems to be too randomly placed - though i do love the colour and the softness of the water.

I generally try not to disturb what I shoot unless I have to, so staging the plants was not the way to go about composing this. I did however put careful thought into the spiral balance of the frame and am happy with how it ended up [though aspect ratio means I can't get a perfect Fibonacci, even if I could eyeball it in the field] :)

Thanks for the feedback though

I'm drooling at the details here.

I love the harsh change of colors in their stems, the whole image appears to be a gigantic being tring to eat those flowers who had lived a hard life and still they resist to be eaten.

Glad you moved this one to your gallery :)
