Current work, from '09, full viewing is recommend to see the details. Put it in Surreal category because that dreaminess was where I was trying to take this, but it could also have gone into EMOtive Portraits [chuckles]

I'm not even sure what to write here. All I can say is that I am still amazed looking at this photo because it did mix with my feelings. When looking at the details it gives even more impact because it's like if the water was some sort of plastic taking inside only the hair and not letting the whole 'romantic' moment go. At the same time even if the perspective of this photo was changed, it looks like everything is about to be sucked by the water including the necklace due to it's direction. The colors are also very appealing.
Some of the other shots had more flow but all the details are lost underwater. It would need to be shot top down to look good I think, from the side like this it's all too vague.
The color-version works a lot better in my eyes, the right more abstract side is a lot more effective and seems to suck you in much better than in the B&W.
And great self-portrait, especially if the viewer is aware of your other abstract work and the passion & sight you have for them. I´d love to be able to one day do a self-portrait that would be even near as cool as this.
