Image Description:
Form is, and form will be, how you engage with it is what is crucially important. The black and white version strips away the coverings this color version has

To me this is work about borderlands and the insectile, about shadows overshadowing their caster, about the reevaluation of sight. Yo you it can be about whatever you like of course, I hope the form interests you

------ ------ ------ ------ ------

Invader Species : color by `wroth; "This image sums up the abstract gallery's ideal - everyday objects composed and shot, with a result that defies identification. Having asked the artist what the image is of, I still cannot identify the subject, and how much more abstract can it get beyond that? Hopefully, seeing such a good example of abstract photography will clarify for the dA community the type of images that the gallery calls for." ( Suggested by tiganesc and Featured by opioid )

To me it looks as though it could be a terrain not of this planet, though I feel the urge to turn my head somewhat.Wonderful texture of the sand coupled with the old gold tones make for one interesting and inspiring image.

Thanks for stopping by znow :thanks: Gald you and others find it interesting. You pretty much nailed it, manipulating the viewer's sensation of space and presenting an appearance that is alien where two major points of this form study. :) Though more so in black and white.

I love the gold sandy texture. Its really like I'm looking at another worlds surface. Thats just me though. Great shot.

Right on, thanks. I wanted there to be a feeling of alienation to add to the tension, so other worldly was a goal :)
