Well you're at least definitely the preview master
And if this wasn't enough, your pictures are simply gorgeous. I really appreciate your art in general, but your selection is pure GOLD.
Too bad I don't see any download options, though :(

Thanks a lot :highfive:

Sorry about the download I had to disable it when I did the update, since I first uploaded this the rules have changed over uploads and you can't put .zip files into the photo sections of DA anymore I guess.

You're welcome!
Aw really? I didn't know they changed that... Damn, I guess I'll have to upload the preview in the scraps or something when I'll do mine...
I bet your calendar will be successful :p Do you sell a lot, by the way? I always wondered if talented artists actually do sell on dA :)

Yah that seems to be the case, it kept saying I needed to have a file of a 400x400 more more, would not take the zip...

I've only really been posting work to this gallery and selling prints for less then a year so I' am not very well known still. How many watchers and such your account has is a bigger factor in sells then how good your work is, if no one knows about it they can't buy it after all. I sell a bit, not a ton though.

I agree with you: to get pieces bought, people have to see them. But I was also expecting the "random" factor when someone falls in love with a piece he sees in someone's favourite. I have in my wishlist some pieces from people I don't watch, but those particular pieces please my eyes. I really wonder about the numbers behind the print program of dA, though... I have no ideas how many pieces sell in one day: ten, a hundred, a thousand? No idea... They should communicate about this, I think...

I think over 100k pageviews people start to do alright with sells and get some modest money coming in, as that grows I'm sure sells would as well. My other account has 1.5mil views and a lot of traffic, some day my account here will be like that and then I'll rack in the cash ;)

Yes. I think it would be nice to know what sells are like also for the over all site.

That's good to hear. I am making a calendar for the first time with some of my recent water colors, so I hope the quality is good. I will probably end up ordering one of yours for my husband. He would appreciate looking at your work from day to day much more than mine. :D

As long as your watercolor scans are high quality I'm sure the printing will be great. I would not be posting my work for sell here if I was not confidant in the quality, everyone who gets da prints swears by the professionalism and i have friends that work on print staff here, so I trust the product as long as good files go in.

I'm using the same print files that make my 24x36 prints on these internal calendar pages so I'm exceeding the high end dpi recommendations [in all cases but saffron deluge which is a crop and just under 300-dpi], sure it'll be slick.

I did make sure they were 300 dpi and I am pretty confident with my files, so it should be fine. Hopefully the colors will be true. I ordered one, so hopefully I will like the results.
I'll have to order one of yours soon and check it out. I am sure it will be awesome.
